COVID-19 update: Temporary entry restrictions are in place at the CI border. ONLY Cook Islands residents and citizens (and their children and partners) are permitted to enter Cook Islands, New Zealand citizens and permanent residents ordinarily resident in Cook Islands, airline and marine crew. There will be some exceptions to the entry restrictions, on a case by case basis. From 11.59pm on 25 March 2020, all travellers boarding an aircraft to the Cook Islands must undertake a minimum of 14 days of supervised quarantine in an approved facility on arrival - self-isolation at home may be permitted. For more information on the temporary entry restrictions, please refer to either the Immigration CI MFAI facebook page or the Ministry of Health website. More Customs information in relation to COVID-19, including how Customs is continuing to ensure that imports/exports clear the Cook Islands border, is available on this website.
