The Treasury Management Division are seeking a suitably qualified and an experienced individual for the following position:
Payroll Team Leader
We are looking for an individual who thrive in a busy and challenging environment. The Payroll Team Leader must have an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a related area, and practical work experience in advanced payroll preparation and qualitative analysis, ideally within a government or local government setting. You will contribute to the managing of the payroll function for the whole of government and also ensure that legislative requirements are met.

GRADUATE - CROWN ACCOUNTANT
The Cook Islands Government Ministry of Finance and Economic Management (the Ministry) offers a great opportunity to live and work in a tropical paradise as a Graduate Crown Accountant within the Treasury Management Division (the Division) in Avarua, Rarotonga.
The Division is responsible for producing consolidated financial reporting on behalf of the Crown (the whole Government). It requires collecting financial reporting from 40+ agencies and combing these reports to produce one financial report.

SENIOR TREASURY OFFICER
The Cook Islands Government Ministry of Finance and Economic Management (the Ministry) offers a great opportunity as a Senior Treasury Officer within the Treasury Management Division, Funds Management Team in Rarotonga.
The Funds Management Team is the payment arm of Treasury, and responsible in managing Government’s cashflow, bank deposits and the debt management system.
Requirements
- Tertiary degree in business or equivalent
- 1-3 years’ experience in a finance management or administrative role
- Computer literate (Word, Excel and Access)

The senior policy advisor is a role with a focus on a competitive market environment focused on reducing barriers to a market-led economy to help develop the policies to increase resilience in our economy in the recovery period. The ideal candidate will have some understanding of economics and/or drafting legislation and public policy for that market environment. Regulatory, project management and public policy experience in the public sector would also be an advantage.
