The National Millenium Development Goal (MDG) Report for the Cook Islands provides an assessment of the Cook Islands Human Development Progress, in the context of the MDGs. The Cook Islands published its first MDG report in 2005, signaling its commitment alongside the global community to improve the living standards of Cook Islanders.

The 2010 report assesses the progress made since that first report which demonstrated that the Cook Islands has made significant strides in the areas of education, health, and political development. The report highlights the need to assess what has been achieved, refine the approaches and strategies, and redefine goals in order to continue to improve the status of the Cook Islands people.
